Ten New Download 2016 Announcements from BBC Radio One

On BBC Radio One at 8 o clock tonight (December 6th), Daniel P Carter announced a handful of bands that will be performing at Download festival 2016.

The first band was announced at 20:02 and it was Neck Deep.



Second band was announced at 20:05 which was Billy Talent


At 20:11, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes were announced as the third act. It was way back in 2011 when Frank Carter graced the stage by himself at Download .



The fourth announcement that came from Daniel P Carter was at 20:15 and it was a band called Horror.



As 20:17 struck, Beartooth were the fifth band to be announced which caused a lot of excitement from fans of both Beartooth and the festival itself



Architects were announced at 20:20 and the last time that Architects went to Download was 2015, so they're lucky to be playing two years in a row. 



Back in 2014, Amity Affliction played Download Festival and now at 20:26, it was announced that they were to play again for the 2016 festival.


At 20:33 Carter announced that Ghost would also be playing.


Gojira were then the nine band to be announced at 20:36.


And last but not least, the tenth band was announced at 20:41 and it was Down.



It looks like Download festival 2016 is going to be immense! These ten bands that have been announced this evening have made the line-up even better and more exciting. Plus, what a range of bands so it's going to entice more of an audience in.
